Terms of Use
These terms govern the website socyti.se, provided by Socyti AB, reg. no. 559118-3529.

What Socyti is
Socyti compiles and presents public statistics about Sweden's 290 municipalities. The data comes from open data sources, primarily Kolada, Statistics Sweden (SCB) and the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket), and is processed according to the method described openly on our methodology page. The service is free of charge and requires no account.
Information, not advice
Socyti provides statistical information and comparisons, not advice. Rankings and scores reflect the choices of indicators, weighting and method described on the methodology page. Different choices would give different results. The content is not a recommendation about where you should live and does not replace your own research. Always verify information that matters to your decisions directly with the municipality or the original source.
Accuracy of the data
We work systematically to keep the data correct and current, and our methodology page describes how we check it. We cannot, however, guarantee that all information is always complete, current or free of errors. The statistics reflect the most recent years available from each source, which may lag one or more years behind the present. If you find an error, we want to know. Contact us at kontakt@socyti.se and we will review the figure through the process on the methodology page, from source value through calculation steps to published text, and correct confirmed errors.
AI-generated descriptions
The narrative texts about each municipality are generated with the help of AI from verified statistical inputs and are checked against source data before publication. They describe statistics, not a prediction of your experience. Read more on the methodology page.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, we are not liable for damage arising from use of the service or from reliance on information in it, nor for temporary interruptions or faults in the service's availability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory legislation.
Sources and intellectual property
The statistics come from open data sources and are reproduced with attribution: Kolada (RKA), Statistics Sweden (SCB) and the National Agency for Education (Skolverket). These organisations have not participated in or endorsed Socyti's processing, scores or rankings. Responsibility for the compilation is ours. Socyti's own compilations, texts, design and software belong to Socyti AB. You may use and share the service's content for private, non-commercial purposes with attribution to Socyti. For commercial use, contact us.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service in a way that disrupts its operation, circumvents technical limitations or violates the law. Automated bulk extraction of content without an agreement is not permitted.
Personal data
Socyti requires no account and uses cookie free, memory based analytics. See our privacy page for details.
